Between 25 June – 01 July, at the Jiu Fair Romanian Boxing Cup for cadets was held. The Crișul Oradea Sports Club was represented by the athlete Călugăr Mădălin (coach Crăciunea Viorel), who won the match with Corbu Marius (CSM Iași) and Stavri Dimitrie (Rapid Bucharest) being defeated in the semifinals by Alexandrescu David (Dinamo Bucharest), thus Mădărin won the place among the 21 athletes registered in the category 40 kg. June 25th and july the 1st In the meantime, the Cselgáncs Romanian Cup was organized in Zsilvásárhely. The Crișul Sports Club in Nagyvárad was represented by Călugăr Mădălin (coach: Crăciunea Viorel), who won over Corbu Marius (Jászvásári VSK) and Stravi Dimitrie (Bukarest Rapid), but lost a match in the semi-final against Alexandrescu David (Bukarest Dinamo), so Mădăli won a medal out of 21 athletes in the 40 kg category.
